I'm from Tennessee with two grown boys. I'm very new to leathercraft (less than a year). I've always been interested, but finally took the plunge when I was searching for a custom leather field notes journal for my husband.. and decided to make one myself. I'm trying to learn how to carve freehand and use both dyes and paints. I wish I could take classes, but there are zero leathercraft classes in Nashville other than 2 one hour workshops at Tandy Leather. So, youtube is where I'm trying to learn, and a big reason why I joined here =)
