About Me

my wife and I have been involved with horses for over 24 years. We have bred foundation line (Poco Bueno and Blackburn 40) mares to skipper W stallion with great success. 

We started a leather company in 2000( The Awl and Needle) making tack and strap goods, both english and western due to our location. My wife's specialty is hand sewing. 

I have always wanted to make a saddle and have been researching and acquiring materials for same.Now that I have retired from my regular job and farming it is time.
