Anyone wanting to sell a used box type speed reducer? Or even just the bearing/spindle/pulley assembly?

I have a Yamata FY5318 and I want to install a needle positioner. My servo motor has brushes. Does this matter on the positioners that mount on end of handwheel?

I can not find a user manual or parts manual for this machine. Would like threading instructions, needle requirements even a repair manual if available. Thank you

Where do I find the 9 or12 coil motors? Would like to know how to gear slower or find a gear head servo motor if available.

Can this be done? I can machine / fabricate so that is not an issue. What I need to know more about is speeds etc. I read where most servo motors run at a min speed of 300 rpm which seems way too fast. What am I missing?

My 29-4 was well maintained and not worn in any common areas. I tried some light naugahyde upholstery material and it seems to cause the top fabric piece to slightly gather. Have tried different adjustments on foot tension but makes no difference. Any ideas? Sews leather saddlebag material great though I wish it had a longer stitch. I get about 7-7.5 to the inch.

I need to thin from .200 inches to about .160 inches thick. It is an old 3" wide by 12 feet long drive belt from either a farm implement or a machine shop overhead drive system. Probably 75 plus years old with lots of character which is why I want to use it. I will end up using an unspliced section of about 50" long. it's a little stiff with very minor cracking in places. I need it to retain the antique look. Has anyone have any comments about the idea of soaking it for a few hours and then trying to roll it thinner? Something along the idea of like a wringer washer but with smooth metal rollers. I doubt I could skive it evenly enough since this belt has seen lots of tension and stress in its life. Ideas? Thanks
