been doing some leatherwork for a few months and not doing so good. Going to pick your brains alot. Hope you guys and girls don't mind. If I'm a pest just ban me. If you don't then you might be stuck with me.
Well my first question. Hope it's not too soon after the introduction.
Been wanting to make myself a gunsling. What thickness leather do they normally use.
What linning do they use and do you stick it on or sew or bit of both. How much glue and what kind. Stitching. 3,4,5mm?
I want it firm but soft. In other words
when the lining is on it still needs to be able to bend. If that makes sense. If any other tips needed please let me know.
