Just turned 60 and I am wanting to eventually turn my hobby into an additional income, early in life I worked construction and then entered the U.S. Coast Guard where I served 7 years active, got tired of the politics and got out. Used my experience to get a seaman's license and went back to sea for a few years and then became a licensed engineer in a high rise building in Houston for the last 22 years. Off and on I would do different leather projects either for myself or family or at the request of someone I knew, but I stopped after a divorce 16 years ago. I am pretty much self taught in a lot of areas. Recently with the encouragement of a neighbor I decided to start up again and I am now working a few projects.
