Back in the 1960s my big brother was given a Tandy's Basic Seven starter kit. He went to summer camp and ordered me not to touch it. By the time he came home I had made every project in the kit. I made various Tandy's kits off and on until college, when I got into the Society for Creative Anachronism, and started making my own designs, dagger sheaths, belt pouches etc. In the 90s work and family took precedence, and I put away my tools. A few years ago I got into handguns, and I decided to make a couple holsters, so I dusted off my tools and fell back in love with a great hobby.
