I have been at this for a few weeks. I started just wetting with a sponge and then found out about casing so I have been giving that a try. Feel free to critique my work. I can use all the help I can get. Thanks. I will post pics in order of progression. There is a bunch of leather in between that are just practice strokes and stuff that i wont waste the space to show. Here are the first two I did. The newest one was a cased piece the other was just sponge wet. They are dated. This one i did today its my 3rd. It is my family crest. Wish I had lettering but its just a practice piece but I can see this one on a holster in the future.

Hi all, Just starting out here in Maine. I had a few tools packed away that my father had many many years ago and thought i would give it a shot. Looking to learn as much as possible and this forum seems to have as much as possible...LOL. I started a few weeks ago and i will post my progression in another post. Thanks for having me!!
