I got into the art of leather craft after a late night of depression drinking. I thought what real-world skills do I have if civilization devolved into chaos. So, I learned about small game hunting, and how to use the pelt, which led to small game tanning at home, and leather crafting. I've been using scraps for the last year or so until I feel my stitching and cutting is consistent. I've been slowly getting more adventurous with my products and even started trying my own designs. I would love more tips and tricks. I just bought Valerie Martin's book and hoping that helps me learn better techniques.
