  1. Is this still available? Do you have a photo? Thank you
  2. Hello, I would love to hear your opinions on which skiver you would choose if given a choice? It will be used for leather used for book binding. I don't see many, if any reviews on the Techsew. Please advise. Thank you so much
  3. Hello, my husband is interested in purchasing a skiving machine for leather that will be used to bind books. He's been advised to purchase a Cobra or Fortuna machine. Which machine would you recommend, and why? What is important for him to look out for when using it for leather book covers? And where can either of these machines be purchased in the US? Thank you
  4. Hello, I am new to this forum and glad to be here. My husband and I have been looking into starting a leather embossing business for books, specifically for judaica, where it is used heavily. I have been doing research on the right machine, and we narrowed it down to a 120 ton hydraulic (or automatic, but I haven't found that) machine. I have googled the daylights out of this, but still feel like I'm coming up short. Where would we find a machine that would work for this? I keep on coming up with almost only machines made in China, but we would prefer something better than that, if it makes a difference. We are located in NY. Please advise with any information that can help us. It will be greatly appreciated. Thank you ~ Esther
