  1. Team, I gotta tell you how shocked I am to pull this off. No patterns or advice anywhere in sight and I still managed to put together a tiered three knife set sheath.
  2. Buddy asked me to sheath his new camp knife and firestriker. Doing the best I can with a $10 tandy belly and a utility knife.
  3. It's beautiful...and now I am embarrassed I didn't throw my last 6 in the scrap pile. Got a new standard to work up to.
  4. Thank you, Bob. I didn't know about Miller's. I'll look for it. How many Miller's can there possibly be in the Amish Yellow Pages? There is also a Lenart blacksmith/taxidermist/leatherworker in Pierpont Heights, but we have yet to meet. I try to get over to Conneautville Hardware once a month, whether I need anything or not!
  5. Hey gang, just a note to come out of the shadows. Been referencing here for a month or two and finally decided it was becoming common enough to join. A buddy made me a knife. He said I should sheath it. I bought a bag of scrap and some upholstery needles from Michaels crafts. Then, something just exploded. There were bellys and bends, there were skivvers, and dyes. My wife lost her kitchen island to cowskin and craft paper. Why did no one warn me? Why??
