About Me
A novice at best, I inherited all the tools I started out with and a few scraps of leather from my grandfather who apparently used to do leather work for saddles and such in NJ a long time ago. He has since stopped so he showed me the basics of tooling... I suck at it but keep trying. I have done several of the smaller Tandy kits, one of the larger kits and have learned I dislike them. I would much rather go on to make my own patterns and projects but am unsure where to start or how to go about it. That first cut into a side of leather is like cutting shapes out of a hundred dollar bill; kind of nerve racking. So, I am open to the advice and wisdom of those out there who have the experience and or just have a few cents of thought about where to start, what to do, and what fun projects to work on.
