Hello everyone, I am brand new to leather craft and am interested in making a book cover as a present and was wondering what's a good weight leather to use for the front is if I want to stamp it. I would like to use a basketstamp pattern on the front and back along with some carved letters. Any help would be great.

Hi everyone I would like to make a present for someone and was wondering how do you measure a bible to make the cover. Because I know you have to allow for space and stitch line. This is all new to me and I am starting out in leather craft. So any help would be great.

Hi everyone, I am new to leather working and am in the process of getting my stamp. I don't have an issue spending the money on quality but was wondering if there really is a difference in the ones you get from Tandy ie: there pro stamps or spending the extra and getting hand made stamps from Barry King? I am looking at getting basketweave, bevlers and background stamps. Any advise would be great. Thanks

Is this going to be a monthly meeting? I will not be available for the meeting on the 18th but would really like to get involved?
