D.C. leather goods startup looking for Stitcher and Tooler
Stitcher Craftsman should be able to sew even, tight, straight stitches. Should be able to stitch in a clean strain line and also maneuver stitches around corners, bends and other angles. Must be able to sew multiple pieces of leather thicknesses together in a clean tight even fashion. Attention to detail is a must. Knowledge and skills in other stitches such as the Double Loop Stitch and Mexican Stitch are helpful but not required.
Leather Tooler Craftsman should be able to hand tool custom designs and patterns on various weights of vegetable tanned leathers.
