Buried like a tick in the woods of East Texas, I retired from law enforcement 10 years ago. After attending a local fair and watching some blacksmiths demonstrate their art, I joined their club and began turning scrap metal into different-shaped scrap metal. Of course that eventually led to making knife-shaped objects, which in turn led to the desire to house them in leather sheaths. Now here I sit, addicted to two new expensive hobbies (as if I needed more) on top of shooting, reloading, flying RC aircraft, raising goats and all the other stuff.
Is there a 12-step plan for curing the leather habit?
