I've been "making stuff" for decades, primarily by knitting, sewing, and crocheting.  Recently I picked up a bag of leather remnants; if you're here, you can probably imagine the rest.  I just wanted to make  *one thing*, and I certainly wouldn't be stitching or "tooling," so I didn't need any of those other tools or supplies... Do I even have to say that my dining-room table is now covered with bottles of glue, stains, and finishes, and assorted tools and awls?  And I've only been noodling around with leather for about a month and a half!

I live in Central Virginia, near Richmond, work full-time, primarily overnights, for  Henrico County, and shoot pool two nights a week (in APA leagues).
