Hello everyone,
I started working on doing some small leather projects to go with my bead work. I have been using a roll of the veg tan leather from Hobby Lobby just to start learning and practicing. Now, that I have my patterns are made and I have an idea of what I am doing, I would like to use a higher quality leather so I can sell my projects. Right now my focus is custom nosebands for horses. I have attached a picture of one I made for reference. So, my question is what would be a good leather to upgrade to? I have a general understanding of leather and what the differences are but I really wanted suggestions from people more experienced so I don't end up loosing a lot of money in the long run on something that isn't what I thought it was especially since I may order online.
