Started in Dec 2008. I saw someone on the job selling stuff he made. Thought to myself I could do that. Went to the Elgin Tandy Warehouse, spent way to much money before I knew what I was doing. Now I still spend to much money stocking the shop(2nd bedroom). But now I am learning how to use everything and everybody gets learther for birthdays. I find it's more of an addiction than a hobby. I take care of my disabled wife and was spending to much time in front of the computer. Now I spend to much time in the shop, but I find it's more rewarding to look at something I've made. I wish I would have discovered leather working 30-40 years ago. But at 55, I did teach an old dog a new trick.
