  1. Hello everyone! I'm new here and looking for some help with how to work with premade leather bolo braid. I'm a glass artist, and I'm looking to use braided leather in a product I'd like to make. I'm not entirely opposed to doing the braiding myself, but I'd rather be able to use a braid that's premade to save time and make the product cost lower. I know I could braid onto a split ring and solve this that way, but it would add an extreme amount of time and that is what I'm trying to avoid. These are the premade braided cords I'm hoping I could use, or something like it: http://www.leathercordusa.com/category/C6-10MM.html Specifically I'm wondering if it's possible to cut the braid, and then rebraid, or otherwise attach it to a split keyring on one side, slide a glass bead over the bolo braid, then add a stop at the bottom to prevent the bead from sliding off. I've seen lots of glue on end caps and that really won't work for these as they need to be very durable, if there was a cap you stitched through to secure it maybe that would work. But I'm sure there's a lot I'm missing that you guys can help me with! Any advice or links are appreciated! This is an amazing resource and thank you for any help!!
