I absolutely LOVE the Punisher sporran. Mind if I borrow the concept for myself?

Here I go again.... my second post on the forum and I'm awaking another long dead thread. I love these sandels, and I now want to make a set of my own (and one for the bride unit). They seem like a pretty straight forward project, but I find myself curious as to weight and type of leather you used for the straps and the footbed/sole. Oh... and I could definately see myself adding some Vibram soles to these. Outstanding work, Jordan!

At the risk of reviving an old thread... Mike, how, if I may ask, did you make the handle on this? Did you just wrap the leather and stitch it, or is it wrapped around something to stiffen it? What weight leather do you recommend for such a project as this mug?
