Hey All, I am using a 4mm diamond tool for my stitching but i find that at times the holes don't line up at a corner or end of the stitch....4mm spacing then end up with 2mm etc.... is there a secrete to this? or do i need to consider the stitching spacing when designing templates etc??? Cheers

Thanks guys -
Hey All, I have some 1.2mm thick veg tan leather that i am planning to make some wallets and nbotbook covers from. I want to keep the natural veg colour and have it darken with age and use in a nice way...however, i have seen some peoples items from veg tan and they seem dirty and grotty....not nice patina at all.... What do i need to do to the leather so that it will patina in a nice way with use...before i pass onto the person.... Cheers

Thanks Flatwater. I am looking into it and will most likely get it. Thanks jpounder95. I downloaded them and see that the first set works well. However, the vertical wallet template seems to be missing a page. I did and up getting the makesupply wallet plans from etsy and found its very simular to yours. oh well.... Thanks to everyone for their comments and support.

Hi Guys, I have been searching for hours on end and am finding it very hard to get free wallet templates. Mainly looking for 6 card slot bi-fold. Also a 12 card vertical bi-fold. So i think i will need to purchase some templates. I have come across Armitage Leather which has a bundle for $18 (AUD). Has anyone used these? What are there thoughts? Cheers

Yes I did offset them. One left. One middle and one right. The final 2 are a left and middle. Once done I will post pics. Cheers for the support.

So I have cut down the pieces to ‘Ts’ and have turned 5 layers thick to only 2. Heaps thinner.

Thanks everyone for their comments. The leather I am using is kangaroo so it’s quite thin already. Sorry if this question has been asked before but was not sure what to search for. Cheers

Hey guys i am new to leather work and am looking at copying my favourite wallet. I have cut out ‘T’ Pieces to make 6 card slots but it is very thick as the t pieces overlap. What can I do?
