My wife and I have lived and worked in the Alaskan bush on a spit between Port Clarence and Grantley Harbor--about 75 miles south of the Arctic Circle--for the past nine years. Getting ready to retire. Think this would make a great side hustle--a few extra bucks for a movie, a once-in-a-while-shot (or some sippin') of a good single malt scotch, and an enjoyable activity when I'm not fishing for salmon or halibut. Several years ago I began braiding paracord to offer it as an elective for my students. Since that time, I've always wanted to braid leather. I feel like it's in my wheelhouse--I got this. Waiting for a few instruction materials and leather.
