Hey folks,
I'm working on a couple of handles for a bag I've nearly finished, I'm making them rolled around a section of 1/2" (12mm) cording with a butt join rather than a flesh to flesh join. I've been having some trouble with the handle wanting to twist on me, and so far I'm stumped on how to correct this. I've tried out baseball stitch, running stitch, some sort of H stitch that I kind of found by mistake, but so far the twist still wants to appear. Is this just something that happens with rolled handles or is there something I can do about it? The handles are long, around 22" (55cm), maybe it's just a length thing?
Thanks in advance
