Started leather working in the mid to late 90's. Was just starting to get good at carving leather when overtime at a G.M. plant where I work took up most my time. Retired in 2010 and went to work at a 1800's reenactment village as a toy maker and part time leather smith. I have now retired again and am really getting back into the leather work. With the internet and you tube videos the knowledge is endless without even leaving home. When I have a question needing answers leatherworkers.net is a good place to start.
