  1. Thank you all for the replies. I have now started wetting before bending and added pure neatsfoot oil to my process. I was not doing either of those. New leatherworker problems...
  2. Am i bending the leather too tight or what am I doing wrong? Thank you in advance.
  3. Thank you. I’ll check Toledo sew out. I would definitely have to ship. It’s a long haul to drive
  4. When I search for 207 polyester thread in different colors I am not finding much at all. Am I calling it something wrong? This is for a Cobra Class 3 machine. Thank you in advance.
  5. Thank you. Is there a site that has pre-made (standard-ish) dyes? I would imagine there is something out there similar to what I am doing or that I can make work.
  6. What is the easiest way to do this and do it consistent each time? Should I have a dye made or is there a punch I can use to accomplish this? Thank you in advance.
  7. This is the only site I found that had them. My only hesitation is it says adding color could add extra processing time... Hoping someone comes up with something else also. Thank you though.
  8. Where can I find these spring buckles in bulk? Nickel, Black and Brass. Thank you in advance.
  9. Thank you. I will look it up. Hoping it’s not too difficult to do for a beginner.
  10. Would anyone be able to help me identify what this finish is and how I could accomplish it with veg tan leather? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  11. My main product will be similar to this and will be a 10-11 ounce and i plan to do everything in 207 thread. That seems to be the industry norm.
  12. That is great to know! I don't see myself going below the 6oz leather so I am leaning towards the CB3200. Thinnest I would go would be a belt. What thickness are those normally?
  13. If I run the same size thread for all of my items I could get by with one machine right?
  14. How do you thin the pva glue? I like this idea for the cutting board part of my table
