Thank you all for the replies. I have now started wetting before bending and added pure neatsfoot oil to my process. I was not doing either of those. New leatherworker problems...

Thank you. I’ll check Toledo sew out. I would definitely have to ship. It’s a long haul to drive

When I search for 207 polyester thread in different colors I am not finding much at all. Am I calling it something wrong? This is for a Cobra Class 3 machine. Thank you in advance.

Where can I find a 3/4" spring buckle? (PICTURE IN THREAD)
afdfirefighter replied to afdfirefighter's topic in Suppliers
This is the only site I found that had them. My only hesitation is it says adding color could add extra processing time... Hoping someone comes up with something else also. Thank you though.- 5 replies

Thank you. I will look it up. Hoping it’s not too difficult to do for a beginner.

Would anyone be able to help me identify what this finish is and how I could accomplish it with veg tan leather? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Juki 1541 or Cowboy 3200

My main product will be similar to this and will be a 10-11 ounce and i plan to do everything in 207 thread. That seems to be the industry norm. -

That is great to know! I don't see myself going below the 6oz leather so I am leaning towards the CB3200. Thinnest I would go would be a belt. What thickness are those normally? -

If I run the same size thread for all of my items I could get by with one machine right? -
