I am a retired civil engineer and would like to spent more time in my wood shop. As I noted above my hobbies included woodworking and wood carving. A retired person does not need more furniture.  I continue with my carving presently working on a caricature cowboy and Santa. This past year I also learned how to carve spoons from green wood.  Recently I've been spend a lot of time looking for ideas to other small project for gifts to friend, and family.  and came across leather crafts.
