I still have the original cap badges, so you reckon it’s best to put them back in the belt and leave it as is?

Thanks Shadow Hawk Armory. I’m a little disappointed that nothing can be done, but it is what it is. I’ve read about these Leather Repair Fillers, but they’re obviously not up to this job? Regards John

Thanks for your reply fredk. The holes are where a previous owner inserted a number of wwii British army cap badges!! The belt is a German army one.

Hi everyone. I need some help please. I’ve got a second world war belt that has a number of holes along its length. My question is is it repairable and can anyone recommend anyone who may repair it. I live in Wales. Many thanks John

Thanks for your comment fredk, I would suggest the mold is light grey? I’ve attached a photo if that helps?

Thanks very much for your replies Handstitched, Tugadude and SUP much appreciated. The bags are kept in a spare bedroom and the relative humidity is around 58. Don’t know if this is too high? I’ve tried rubbing alcohol and water but mold returns. I’ve also tried a mold remover but again it comes back. It looks like I need to reduce the RH to around 50. Thanks

Hello everyone hope you can help. i have a 3 piece set of leather travelling bags which suffer from recurring mold patches. I’ve tried various mold removers on sale here in the UK, which are successful in removing the mold but within a week or so it returns. Does anyone know how to permanently remove the mold and how to keep it at bay please? I live in the UK any comments would be appreciated Thank you John

Hello everyone I hope someone can help. I've inherited an old cartridge bag and am seeking some advice as to how best refurbish it. I live in the UK and have searched the internet but have only been able to see some instructions from people who are selling their own product. While this is fine as long as you know what is needed it just confuses me as I don't know what is required for my particular item. I live in the UK and there is no leather restorer I can find who lives near me, so I'm asking for some help please if someone would tell me what needs to be done and what to use to do it I'd be very grateful. I've included a couple of photos. Thanks John
