I have some premium calf lace ftom Tandy that isn't of the usual quality. The local store mgr suggested I apply Neatsfoot oil. Haven't tried it yet, but it brought up this question in my mind. Is it common practice to condition leather lace in some way before using?

Hi, New here, and have already learned a bunch. I make leather cases, falconry equipment, and just started making holsters. Here's a pic of my third holster, first one stitched on a machine. (Boss) Thanks John
