Started with a Singer 401 and someone gave me a Singer 107.  I moved up to a 111G156 that I bought in non working condition from a local tailor.  The 111 sews now but is limited at 8 SPI.  I tried to move the eccentric as Uwe demonstrated in his video, but it appears to be stuck at 8 SPI.  Any advice on how to free up the eccentric slider would be appreciated as I would like to go down to 5 SPI.  Alternately if this G156 will only do 8 SPI, please advise so that I can stop trying.
