 I am of Cajun heritage, retired oil industry (twice), currently a woodcarver specializing in life-like decorative bird decoys. 

 I'm a novice in leather craft. But years ago, I learned a bit of leather craft and leather decorative carving to teach a junior high school Industrial Arts class.  We  made and carved designs on knife sheaths, wallets, wrist band, head bands, and etc.  

  Recently bought a well used Adler 167-73 machine (pretty cheap).  Machine runs, but the bobbin and bobbin cover are missing.  I want to tune it up and learn how to use it to make "professional grade"  holsters, sheaths, bags, and etc.
