About Me

We are the Westland Industrial Heritage Park in Hokitika New Zealand. We have recovered a Pearson Harness sewing machine from our collectiion and have managed to get it cleaned and working...but not properly!

The difficulties are with the shuttle, and how to feed the thread through the shuttle, and generally getting the machine to work properly.

Are there videos available to show/demonstrate how to work it?

On my FB page there is a 30sec video of it working.
