I have been using the original "Strap Cutter" by The Leather Works since 1977. Recently, I tried to change the blade and I sort of gave up on it. I purchased the Tandy Leather version of it and am very happy with it. It has all the features of the original plus centimeter markings on the ruler and a better reinforcement for the thumb screw to hold on to the ruler portion of the tool in place. Other than those two features, the tool has not changed much, thankfully.
