About Me
I got my start in Flagstaff, working for free, for a saddle man who's "crowning glory" was that in 1983 we made 25 production line mule saddles, to replace the Porter saddles used on the South Rim Grand Canyon Mule Operation for over thirty years! Of course, that wasn't the only thing we made...the name of the game was all manner of "cowboy gear", because you didn't make a living, if you turned down work! After about a year, the guy who owned the shop finally started paying me, so i just bought half of the business! Shortly after that, he disappeared, with both halves!!! So, now, it's thirty years later! I'm still at it, now doing more conservation and repair of the old stuff, and building nearly everything someone asks for! I have a real fondness for Cowboy Gear and the Western Gun-Rig. I have a really workable shop at home, filled with antique machinery, and plenty of ideas!
