  1. I’m in need of help please.
I just picked up a 112W117 and I’m starting to clean it up and see what I have to work with. The little tab on the bobbin case is broken off. I have the assembly out and the bobbin case off of the hook assembly but I’m not finding either of the replacement parts on the internet. Will the assembly from a 111W155 work in my 112W117?

  2. I found a Viking industrial 33-10 that needs love, thoughts on this machine? Will it do a straight stitch? I know it’s mainly for fabric but will it sew leather? I don’t know anything about this machine or if you can still get parts for it but I’d sure like to bring it back to life just because I think it’s a cool old machine.
    thanks

  3. Thank you very much i have a 111W155 and a Cowboy Outlaw so I’m getting use to not having reverse. (Can’t miss what you never had) right?
the one I’m looking at has a rattle can paint job on it and needs some TLC but the owner says it’s in good working order.

  4. I might have the opportunity to buy a 45K21 for $400. I mostly make holsters but I also make gun belts and rifle slings. I’ve looked on Google but I can’t find the info I’m looking for.
What’s the thread size I can use on it from the smallest to the largest?

What’s the thickest it will sew?

I just picked up a 111W155 to use on belts, bags and such. I’m excited to put it to work. I wish I could use 207 on it but I can’t  get it to do it and I don’t want to mess anything up on it.

  5. Thank you all and I’m sorry for the delayed reply. I ended up getting a awesome deal on a Cowboy outlaw that I couldn’t turn down. I’ve been playing with it and I made a holster with it and I love it so far. I do think I’ll look for a machine that will do thin leather for bags and purses and try my hand at those.
    thanks again everybody

  6. Wiz, I also have my Grandma’s old Kenmore 117-36 that I thought about trying to covert to sew leather for Chaps and other things. Do you think that machine can be converted? I haven’t been able to find any specs on it. I’m in the process of cleaning it and getting it back to working order now.
    It’s a Kenmore 117-36 long shuttle

id post pics but haven’t figured out how to post them yet. Lol
