I am going to be using my Highlead GC0618-1-SC to sew leather. What type of presser foot should I use? Should I lower the feed dogs?

I am looking to create an avocado color for a custom bag I am making. What colors would you recommend? I was thinking of thinning out a green, and then slowly add a thinned out yellow, and maybe a drop of brown? I’d love to get some feedback.
