bad smell are emitted during machining leather
Zack00 replied to Zack00's topic in 3D Printers and Lasers
Um... unfortunately not. If I worked there, I'd have a lot of money, I'd be sitting in Bali right now, not replying to comments. I apologize for my English (it's not my first language). Maybe, that's why difficult to understand my message. I gave Wattsan(manufacturer's) as his url for other users, for information. Because in the future, I want to show my work on forum and maybe ask for advice. And, in order each time not to write manually brand machine I put it in the profile and the signature. if someone will be interested, perhaps... -

Oh cool! Thanks, I'll check it out! -

Are you sure you have taken a close look at the machine. There is a cover and a hood. Then what is wrong with it. What I meant was, if you work without closing the lid, can the hood handle it, or do you have to close the lid? I haven't experimented, so I asked for an opinion. -

Thank you very much for the advice. There is ventilation + I close the lid of the machine when working, but if you work non-stop, of course, it doesn't help so much. Hmm... interesting! Okay, thanks, I'll look it up. -

Yes, the signature link is to the manufacturer of the CNC machine on which I work. The signature was made for that if anyone is interested, I can give real advice on the machine as a user. I am constantly improving my skills, so I read various articles, including the Wattsan site, and ask for advice on forums. -
I read in an article, Because smoke and bad smell are emitted during machining leather, it is necessary to use an exhaust system of the laser machine. When engraving and cutting of faux leather is performed, harmful for human's health stuff, hydrogen chloride, evolves. Inhaling of this gas can cause serious harm and even death. I have a question, if the hood can not cope, you can use the lid of the machine (close during work). For some reason, I thought all laser machines close just when working with harmful masters. or am I just lucky enough to have a cool CO2 laser machine?

Natural leather is an organic material. A laser beam does not affect the leather itself but substances, tannins and dye staff, that it is cured with. The better the pretreatment, the better will be the result obtained with the laser machine. Quality of engraving and cutting of leather is also determined by how properly the parameters of power and speed are set up. If the settings are not correct, leather can flame up or shrivel. The quality of processing on the laser machine affects how long the result remains intact. Faux leather engraving and cutting Faux leather can be cut and engraved on the laser machine. However, it is not recommended to perform deep engraving. When the depth is too big, the material starts to fringe, crumble, and its particles come off. Even if the product looks nice immediately after the treatment, it will wear out quickly. When choosing parameters for engraving on faux leather, it is recommended to make a sample item first. Set up the minimal power of the laser machine and gradually increase it until you get the desired result of engraving or cutting.

It's quite a big collection.

Leather Fiber optic markers are not designed to work with organics, and leather is an organic material. How, then, can a marker work on skin? In fact, the laser does not interact with the skin itself, but with the materials it is treated with - tannins, dyes, and more. Therefore, depending on the origin of the leather, its preparation and processing will determine the quality and characteristics of the engraving, including the power and speed settings. The same leather, treated and prepared differently, will also behave differently when engraved. It can gobble, or it will burn or engrave normally, the engraving can be durable or will crumble and deteriorate depending on the quality of the leather. So before selling the final product, it is very important to try beforehand what the quality of the engraving will turn out to be. Leathercloth Most often this material is handled quite well, but we do not recommend doing a deep engraving, because the upper layers will fringe, crumble, come off and the product will quickly fall into disrepair. It possible: I combined my love of cars and CNC machines

Okay! I just don't understand why there is so much question about the Lexus logo. I didn't write anywhere that I was selling it! I wrote about the engraving on the leather and I BELIEVED an EXAMPLE OF WORK, NOT MY WORK! I didn't appropriate it for myself. the photo is freely available. -

On the forum, everyone writes about their work, ask questions, talk about some brands, share their experiences. I am no different. Stop accusing me of something I didn't do. -

This photo is freely available on Google, I'm not violating anything, wake up! Yes, I work on a specific CNC machine. If I talk about my work, I show which machine or what tools are used to make it. It's easy! I don't have my own store.
