  1. Thanks Guys, I do have several new thread spools of different sizes, I was just wondering about that one spool.
  2. Thank you both very much. I don't remember where I picked it up, but it should last me quite a while.
  3. I have a large spool of this thread and have been useing it of light projects. I Can't find what the label markings mean or the size of the thread. Can someone help me make heads or tails of all that information? Thanks.
  4. I made some stand alone target holders and those are some of the frames I staple my targets to. I enjoy shooting as much as sewing, strange combination no?
  5. Thank you Don, That will all be helpful information as I learn this machine. I'm happy I found this site, the are so many Skilled and helpful people here. I look forward to the learning trip ahead.
  6. I wanted to post an update to my question on servo motors. I ordered an Enduro 550 watt servo motor, replaced the pulley that came on it with a 1.7" pulley and mounted it on the table I made for the Consew 206RB-2. I really like the control I have with that setup. I made the table and legs from stuff in my shop materials pile. The top is 1-3/4" thick and the frame is made from 2" angle iron. Probable a bit over built, but solid as a rock. I did add a drip pan.
  7. I picked up a used, (well used by the looks of the ware on the table), a Consew 206RB-2 ,and am now looking to get a servo motor setup to power it.I will be sewing heavy fabrics, canvas, and leather. What motor do you guys recommend? Also, if you have any do's or do nots, that would be good to hear . Thanks.
  8. I'll drill the hole and make a pin. Thank you Chisel, I appreciate your help. I'm glad I found this site.
  9. Thank you Chisel. Not counting the part that sticks in the hole, how long is the headrest post? And where should it contact the machine?
  10. I have a Consew 206RB-2, that I am setting it up on a table I made. Watching video after video of people tipping their machine back and seeing it stop part of the way back, but not continuing to lay flat back on the table. My question is, what stops the machine from going all the way back? Here is a pic of the back, am I missing something a part?
  11. I don't know how to post a pic yet. The machine is a Consew 206RB-2. The plate, in question, is located below the lip of the bed. It is marked: "THA9906585". Any idea when the machine was made? It does say "made in Japan" on the Model # plate. Thanks for the help, and i am sure I will have many questions in the future about this machine. At the moment I am reading everything I can find on it, but I can't find everything I have questions about. I am new to industrial sewing machines.
  12. What is the silver numbered plate on the side of the Consew 206RB sewing machine mean?
