How do you buy needels for this machine? What is the modern name on them?
I have just found af Vilhelm Pedersen machine.
A old now dead Shoemaker told me about this machine 7 years ago. (I worked with him for 3 weeks and he had a shoemaker museum)
It was invented during the "krim war" in 1865. A small part of the iceland had forced the shoemakers to deliver 4000 boots for turkish soldiers every day, As a result a local shoemaker invented the machine. A British military captain were involved in the war as a "observer". He stole a machine and back in England he made the first patent on the machine in 1867.
