About Me

I was in the Coast Guard with the aviation part of the service.  I was also a crew member and mechanic,  that went on SAR's, and Fishery patrols.  In the beginning, Popeye was in the Coast Guard,  before he became a squid.  Hence my profile picture.

I've worked outside 40 plus years, as a journeyman carpenter, landscaper, gardener, maintenance and a small engine mechanic. 

I'm retired now and partially disabled.  I'm interested in photography, metal detecting, gold panning, and my new hobby leather work.
