Vellum paper, you can buy it at any office supply store. I use fonts from a computer and then print it out on vellum paper and use a ball point stylus and trace over cased leather to transfer the fonts. Then you can take a swivel knife and tool or an exact knife to cut them out for a recessed look or cut them out on another piece of cased leather and stitch for a raised look.
