I began designing and sewing leather pillows using equine tack, horsehair and metal sculpture. The venture was well received and my pillows were accepted in the Western Design Conference in Jackson Hole. It was not viable commercially, so I decided to sell my machine and concentrate on mounting new and repurposed tack on leather in place of canvas . It is a rewarding finding the right pieces and matching the leather to complement them.
