The bobbin case fits nicely. It appears to be the same size as the previous one except the new one takes a narrower bobbin. The machine is now up and running thanks to Constabulary’s link. The machine was running at one speed extremely fast so I have replaced the motor with a Nema 32 stepper motor I had in the garage and control the speed with an Arduino.

The bobbin case arrived today. It looks like an exact match. I will fit it over the weekend and let you know how it goes. Thanks.

Hey guys, recently came into a reasonable amount of leather that is maybe 10 to 40 years old. It had a smell that I thought might have been cat pee. I have soaked it in a mix of vinegar and water to get rid of the smell but it did not solve the problem making me think it is not cat pee. Does leather ever smell funny like that? any advice would be great. Thanks.

Hey guys, New to machine sewing and looking at buying a machine. Is anyone able to identify what machine this is because I need to replace the shuttle hook.
