Hello from Canada. As a teenager in the 1980s I worked in shoe repair. I spent many hours on shoe patching machines, usually repairing hockey gloves. The shop owner had an Adler 30. That machine was her prized possession. I eventually became a police officer and in the course of my 33 year career, I picked up a Singer 29, then a couple Singer 201s, and one day, an Adler 30. I began doing leather work about 12 years ago and have done repairs, made belts, bags, many watch straps and other creations. I love watching NFL or College football while hand stitching away. Very relaxing. I spent a considerable amont of time, if I recall correctly, on this very site but never signed up. Well, here I am and I am hoping to contribute, learn and share stories with you. I am not sure what « website URL » means in the sign up procedure. I am about to find out. Steve
