About Me
I grew up in a small shoe factory.
My father owned it, and as a kid I spent my days surrounded by leather and shoe-making machines.
During high school I went to vocational school to study machine tools so I could help him repair and retrofit equipment. I learned early that machines aren’t just tools — they’re partners in craftsmanship.
Life eventually took me in a different direction. I went to college, built a career, and stepped away from the shoe world.
Years later, after my father retired and the factory closed, I felt pulled back to those roots.
Today, restoring Singer 29Ks and upcycling shoes and denim isn’t just a hobby — it’s a way of reconnecting with where I started.
