olandrea Report post Posted October 22, 2007 (edited) Hi, is some thing like on the photos possible to engrave on leather or is this a laser job? Edited October 22, 2007 by olandrea
Studio-N Report post Posted October 22, 2007 This is definately doable both by laser and by hand. I have a customer who does excellent work. The different shading is done by altering the amount of power and heat used. Multiple tips are also used. peace.

Mike Report post Posted October 23, 2007 What look are you going for? Do you wish the leather carving to be low relief, monochromatic like the images you supplied? You can reproduce this as is or tooled and colored. When colored, you can go bright or subdued. You have a whole range of treatments you can use with these. If you want them left as is, HideCrafters had/has a video by Billy "2-Shews" Stockil that detail transferring images to leather. Mike
