Members MemorosaLeather Posted May 17, 2022 Members Report Posted May 17, 2022 Good day everyone, I have made the bag seen in the pictures. The bag is made of thick veg tan leather. I got a commision for one more of those and the kind lady gave me permission to use the time and materials I need and she will pay the honest price for it. Meaning; stepping up my game and for once not getting under paid. I would like to add leather lining to the bag without changing much of the look. Is it 'allowed' to glue leather to the back of the pieces and stitching it together like that. How to the big brand do it? I tried to find patterns on the internet but I can not find much that I like. Help, advice and of course critique is more than welcome. Quote
Contributing Member fredk Posted May 17, 2022 Contributing Member Report Posted May 17, 2022 I just glue thin lining leather, about 0.5mm to 1mm thickness, to the main leather and sew it all up as one thickness Quote
