Gioia Report post Posted June 28, 2022 I need to purchase a new or good(used) skiver for myself. Hopefully one that's been regularly serviced. I've owned a fortuna skiver for a few years many years ago( purchased from Hoffman Brothers in Illinois) and later a Chinese model which wasn't the greatest. It may have been me. I need to skiver alligator skin. I've been hand skiving it for over a year, and it is just too painful time wise.I am located in Bridgeport, Ct., USA .
