Members rgerbitz Posted January 8, 2023 Members Report Posted January 8, 2023 Good afternoon Folks, Curious to here what you all are using for tools to trim the fleece off of skirts after you have finished sewing. Thought I had seen some tools once that were specifically for that purpose but can't seem to find them anywhere. Thank you, Rob Quote http://gerbitzquarterhorses.com/
Moderator bruce johnson Posted January 8, 2023 Moderator Report Posted January 8, 2023 Rob, My favorite was a rein trimmer. They look like an overgrown edger. The toes are rounded and don't snag or catch in the wool. Nearly every old saddle harness maker and saddlemaker set had one. I've got several on hand.
