This is a piece that my Mom bought at an estate sale before she passed away. She was a wonderful sewist and upholsterer. Our daughter, who lives in Texas, asked what I could do to finish this loveseat. Challenge accepted! I had to create a seat and then build it up with foam and batting wrapped in burlap followed by the hair on hide leather. I learned a lot and she loved the result.

wow that is a top notch job there .

Worked in a prison for 30 years if I aint shiny every time I comment its no big deal, I just don't wave pompoms.

“I won’t be wronged, I won’t be insulted, and I won’t be laid a hand on. I don’t do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.” THE DUKE!

Thanks for all of the kind words. Bench time on this was probably 8-10 hours. I did a lot of research and posted questions due to the fact that I had no idea what the original seat looked like or what type is was. As I stated before, I learned al lot. The wood on the loveseat was in very good condition. I just did a quick clean and then applied a wood polish.
