Contributing Member wolvenstien Posted November 13, 2007 Contributing Member Report Posted November 13, 2007 My father in law has a tan leather briefcase that he has had for years. The front and back of it have gotten stained and in parts look darker brown. I will get pix and post em tonight. I am curious as how to strip this and get it back to the same color all over, preferably all Tan, but darker if it has to be. What should I use and how should I use it? Contributing Member Clay Posted November 22, 2007 Contributing Member Report Posted November 22, 2007 Try cleaning it with saddle soap, then after it has dried for a day or so wipe it down with lemon juice and then let it dry and then rinse off it with clean water. Then after it has dried again apply light coats of oil. ClayM. Quote Clay Miller
