It can be set up for manual use with a hand crank or be used with the motor. I purchased a hand throttle a couple years ago so I didn't have to mess with a foot petal when setting it up in different spots. I had the blade professionally sharpened about a year ago. Looks like leather machine co sells a new one for $3050 or $2800 for the head only. Id sell the head only for $1900 or the whole thing for $2200.
